Community Engagement

We believe in doing the right thing. Not only financially, but in our communities we all love to live in as well. In 2019, over 300 of our employees combined to volunteer just under 1,500 hours in the community.

 

 

 

Serving with Excellence

Throughout the year, the Credit Union staff are allotted volunteer hours to serve their community. Everyone joins in! Shannon and Kendall, representatives from local branches, are shown serving the community by putting together pet toys for less fortunate animals.

 

 

 

 

 

Financial literacy is an essential factor that we try to implement in our community's daily life. Our Vice President, Strategic Initiatives and Impact, Paula Anderson, is shown here educating the youth on the importance of finances.

 

 

 

 

The Credit Union also offers the Young Professionals Network. Its purpose is to provide young professionals with experiences to engage and get involved in the Credit Union movement through professional development, advocacy and professional networking. Crystal and Jasper are shown here representing YPN for a community event. 

 

 

Acting with Integrity

 

We love getting our hands dirty! Numerous Credit Union employees have volunteered by helping nonprofit organizations in our local areas. Chief Information Officer, Reggie Swanigan, is no exception. He enjoyed volunteering for Gateway Greening during our 2018 Service Day.
